It’s normal because this illness is very difficult to deal with. You need to remember that this will not be easy for them, too. -Bipolar i disorder: This is known as the most severe type of Bipolar. It is the classic manic-depressive disorder. The people who experience this type will have full blown episodes of mania and depression.

Bipolar type 2: You will still have periods of depression but the mania symptoms are not as severe. This is known as hypomania. The symptoms are similar to mania but there will be no delusions and hallucinations. In adolescence, hypomania will look like they have a highly elevated or irritable mood often accompanied by increased physical and mental energy.

Cyclothymia: This is known as being definite mood swings but it doesn’t have the full blown mania or depression with it.

It is very important that you seek professional medical help if you have this disease or if you suspect that you have it. You can live a more normal life even if you have Bipolar disorder but only if you get the right treatment for you and the type you have. Don’t try and deal with this disease alone. Get help because you will need it.
